Team Cooper has a New "Family" Member

At church every first Sunday is Missions Sunday, we usually give $25.00 a month to missions, and to be honest the church then sends it to whoever, or whatever country needs it. Kevin and I are ok with this, but every January we redo our commitment for the year. This year we choose to do our Missions Offering of $30.00 a month to a particular child.
So meet Sweety, she is 4 1/2 and I have to tell you, that she does more in her little life and day than my kids do! :) We sat there in church, and looked at a couple profiles, and when we ran across hers I said "Oh Carlos, look at her, she is adorable!" We should do her, but I had to let him pray about it, we had to decide to do it together.
By the end of the service, I was already on board, but I didn't want to push Kevin, I was so excited when he leaned over with the pen to have me fill out her papers! :)

The $30.00 is for her food, schooling, clothes and medical needs. Then once a month we get to send her letters, pictures, little things such as postcards, crafts, stickers, finger puppets, school supplies, hair pretties, small maps, and jewelry. They have to be small enough for a 9x11 envelope and only like 1 inch thick. We are really excited about the lesson for our children, and in our own lives. Anyhow, we will list any letters, photos or news on our newest member, as we are set for now to sponsor her for 4-5 years, the length of her schooling there.

First-the girls looks beautiful as always in their new dresses and things! Congrats on sponsoring a child. We sponsor a little boy through compassion international. We have sponsored kids through out our marriage and just started again last October. I am so excited this time because the kids can color him pictures and write letters also which makes it more fun!

She's precious!! We sponsor a child too, Christopher. Jeramy had signed up to sponsor him through World Vision before we met and when we got married, we decided to continue his support. We love to receive updates from him and watch him change and grow through the years. He's been a part of our family now for 5 years.

She is absolutely adorable. I would have chosen her too. As far as a blog button, I'm getting ready to go make one right now. I know I've been slacking as far as that goes, I'll have to figure out how to add the code and such. I'm going to grab yours now.
