Broc's Field Day....

On normal days Broc has to wear a uniform top which is a very nice color, specific lines, no logo very expensive polo shirts, hence why on weekends Broc loves to wear t-shirts. Anyhow he was so excited that today was field day until he found out they had to wear the uniform PE shirt... that poor kid, he was so aggravated! I made him let me take his picture before he left. :)
I am so shocked at all the money we put out for school uniforms here.

Man! I worry about when the kids get older and being able to afford all the uniforms! Luckily the new school the kids go to goes through 5th grade so I have until they are in 6th grade before I have to buy uniforms!

Gee, wha'ts so wrong with just requiring a plain polo shirt from Wal Mart? I guess the aim of the uniform is to make them all look alike instead of just making sure they are dressing respectfully? When I was looking at a charter school for Allisen, they said that htey had to wear a polo shirt or sweater, with no words or pictures, and slacks, and girls could wear skits. All of the kids looked nice, but didn't all look alike. That's pretty sad.

And it's also sad that they are having the kids do field day (where clothes are likely to get stained or torn) in those expensive shirts!

He sounds like my 10 year old, he is always complaining about the uniforms that he has to wear to school so he loves it when he can wear street clothes to school! they get to this Friday as it is there field day and next Friday seeing it's there last day of school! :( It's still a good picture of Broc, even though he was mad!! LOL
OH and love the new background!! sooooo dang cute! :)

sometimes I wonder if the uniform rule people have any idea how much it actually costs to outfit the kiddos....I hope it was a fantastic field trip though....
