Field Trip With Dave... To Anne Frank Museum

I haven't been on a Field Trip in along time...at least not with Dave. He is 16, a Sophmore in HS, and therefore too old to have his Mom chaperon.... So when he came home and told me his English/History class was going to the Anne Frank Display, I all but begged him to let me volunteer. :) Not really he told me he knew his teacher would let me go, she knows we have lived in Germany, and visted the Holocaust Muesum in DC. So she was thrilled I would want to go! I have to tell you, I should have paid more attention in school, because it was really cool. At the end there was a holocaust survivor who came and spoke... Very cool experiance, Thanks Dave for letting your mom tag along! :)

By the way.. this is Dave's pasttime... that boy hit on girls all day long~

Holy cow, Dave is TALL!!! Either that, or those girls are way short, lol.

So glad you had a good time, Jody!! I love doing stuff like that. And, to have the opportunity to share it with your older son, well, that's icing on the cake cuz I know in my experience, the older Josh gets, the fewer things we have in common. It's a nice chance to reconnect.

I so wanted to go with Ethan to the Ann Frank Museam here but I couldn't but he loved it and when we watched that movie about her he was really moved. Very cool you got to go because you got to go to the one in DC too. By the way, the pic of Dave with the girls, that scene looks oh so familiar except mine would be one of the girls! Too neat you got to go with him.

I would love to go to the Anne Frank museum! I was very intrigued with her story when I was younger and being in Germany learning more about the holocaust really makes me want to know more!
