The Annual Zoo Boo

This was the kids and Kevin's first time going to the Albuquerque Rio Grande Zoo. (I have shot there twice) I guess all year they do different things at the Zoo, but for Halloween they do come in costume and trick or treat. The Best part? We only had to pay for Kevin, Dave and I!(3 adult tickets, meant all kids 12 and under were free) Um, I know I have said this before, but it's so expensive to do things with all 8 of us, so when Kevin heard about this deal, we went for it! :)
This was the first time the girls really "got" the zoo. I think because it's been so long since any of them had been, it was a nice treat for us all!
We took the girls strollers, because I had the funniest feeling that all day, would end up being along day without them! They do not normally ride them much anymore, not even at the mall, but thankfully I took them. They were done after awhile, so it was a nice ride for them. There are a few images of Heath and the girls standing in lines to get candy! All 6 of them looking at the animals, and then Heath rode the camel! All in all, I think we all had a great day! :) I am really considering Season Passes to the zoo, botanic gardens and aquarium at income tax time. I had no clue there were so many things to go do!

Hide and Seek

I have a wedding tomorrow so that means I have a busy afternoon on the computer. So after I played with the girls and did laundry this morning, when Dave woke up about 1, he started playing hide and seek with the girls. Which of course is very loud, but as I sat here listening to them play, I heard the girls saying "Day, Day, I am hiding in living room (A) I am in mommy's office (T) I am in the closet (P) come find me!" Dave was laughing and said "Your not suppose to tell me where you are!"
Then the next round I heard Dave tell them to count he is going to hide "Where will you be Day Day?" They were asking him. He just laughed and was like I can't tell you! that is the point! :) I love to hear all my kids play loud or not!

Heath's Pajama Day!

Apparently they have a Marble jar at school for good behavior and whatnot, and when the jar is full they get to pick a huge treat, this time it is Pajama Day! He is all excited! He chose his John Cena gear to wear!

Our Dollhouse!

About 6 months before we left Germany, Auntie Kim came to the door and said "Jody, there is a huge doll house out here, let's go get it for the girls!" So we did! Someone was moving and throwing away this huge, cute doll house! We really had no room for it at the time so it sat on our balcony. When we came to NM, it stayed outside again, and they played with it, but it was cold so they would only go for alittle bit and then come in. Mind you this whole time Kevin has wanted to get rid of it, and I kept telling him "No, one day I will have a huge spot they will be able to play with it!" Plus, can you imagine what a new one will cost, when I can fix this one up! It's big enough for all 3 of them to play at! That in itself is Huge! Well yesterday was clean out the garage day...Oh My!! Kevin and the girls decided to bring in the Fisher Price Picnic Table and this Kick Butt Dollhouse! So I had him bring them to my tub, it was the only place big enough I could think of to Scrub them off at! They were both really nasty and dirty, and the dollhouse had been colored on by the previous owner. It took me about a good hour to really scrub, clean, and magic eraser both items, but when they were done, it was so worth it! We took both to the game room, and the girls and I went to find their Princess rug, and we sat it all up! They are loving it so far, now all we need is some dollhouse toys to go in it! :)

Ring Around The Rosie

This morning when we got ready for church, I came down the stairs and the girls were doing Ring Around The Rosie... I love to watch them! Then I tried to get them to sit for me, but they decided to work on their "Princess Wave!" My mom just brought them these dresses, and they were so cute! I probably should have left the color in them but I can't help but add tint sometimes! I can't believe how "big girl" they are getting so fast :(

Happy Halloween From Team Cooper!

I saw this and of course Loved it! 5 little pumpkins is what it says, I have 6 and of course made (literally the older 2) do this for me! :) Not really Dave and Broc are good sports, they made fun of us the whole time, but I still love these shots!

The Pumpkin Patch!

It has been our tradition since Dave was born to go to a Pumpkin Patch. My kids all know it, so we were so upset when the only one we have been able to find was a very expensive entry fee of $9.00 Per Person! Yeah x8! No thank you...
So the other day on the way to a photo session, I passed this one! We went tonight as soon as Kevin got home from work (hence his uniform) The girls were so excited, and after a minute the boys even were fine! It was not the same as our Germany one, but defiantly worth checking out!

Balloon Festival Begins Today!

I was getting the girls ready and happened to glance up, out the window, which made me remember that today is the Balloon Festival! We missed the fest last year, because we moved at the end of October, so we are thrilled to be here this year! I pulled the girls out of my window (yes, literally) and we went to the roof (square housing is amazing) and watched this balloon come real low and close! The girls were so excited, they were waving "Hi, over here look at us" We can't wait to go to the actual fest on Thursday Night!

Our Pumpkin Patch

One of our favorite things about this time of year are Pumpkin Patches! We had one just up the road from us in Germany, we went to every year. The owner hardly spoke any English, but had twins, and therefore loved the girls! He always saved them 3 tiny pumpkins and would give each girl one for a small price: A Photo of all 6 kids! :)
However, with us moving last year at this time, we missed our tradition! Needless to say I am looking for one to go to this year! I could only find 2005 and 2006 on file, so that is what I used to make up this collage. Look how little all 6 of them were! :)

Sneak Peek of our 4 year photographs!

Ok, so they won't be 4 until November 16, but I figure it's close enough. I really wanted outside shots of them this time, plus Nana and I just bought them these dresses, combine that with correctly done haircuts and it's a shoot! :) So after church we came home and the "fun" began! I will not show their "official 4 year old images" until then, but thought you might enjoy all the outtakes! They are getting so "big girl" it breaks my heart alittle... today even Ms. Stephanie at church commented that they have just grown up over night! :(

#1 Nana and Papa

I would like to start this post by saying a Huge Thank You to my parents! They did a great job with my kids, and gave Kevin and I the peace of knowing our children were ok the whole time without us! My Kids, Kevin and I are truly blessed that they are Nana and Papa!
They did all kinds of things with my kids. The Mall, Eating Out, the girls first real haircut, Shopping, and more shopping, the park every night with my kids, so on and so forth. I was so excited when I came back and learned all these things. So I asked them "Did you take pictures?" "Nope" they both said! What?? Why not!?
So here are some I took the night before leaving! We went to the park, and all my kids were so excited to go with my parents! The top image of Aspen running, cut out my dad, I am not sure how come, but she is chasing him "papa, I will get you!" The girls were so excited, Nana come on the slide with us! Of course the boys were thrilled my dad will play football and toss a ball around with them! I am so glad my parents are young and energetic!
The dark images of my mom with the girls are suppose to be that way. I want to work on my silhouette work, and when I have time will "work" with these images, but until then I wanted to post them anyhow. If you click on the grid it will enlarge the collage, and you can see them better!

Vegas Trip:$1000.00+, Money Spent Here: Lots! Watching My Parents and My Kids Together: PRICELESS....

Broc's New Room!

See why we are Team Cooper? My boys love sports! Broc's room is Indianapolis Colts! Images are entering his room from the hallway, left to right. Now his walls seem bare because it is shaped really weird, so I did my best to photograph all the angles of all the walls! Also, the big huge white wall with only one picture frame... We are getting him a Payton Manning Fathead for Christmas, and that is where it's going! His entertainment stand is my favorite, we got it in Europe on clearance, and now I wish there had been 2 more for the other 2 boys! That cage on his desk under his bed, that is Suzy's house!
Oh to answer the 10 emails finally, We painted all 3 boys rooms (can you say oh my) because the owner of the house has girls, and the walls were all lime green, purple and white! My boys, welllll are boys and were having none of that! :) So this gave them and us the perfect opportunity to give them the walls they wanted.
