Fun at the mall

The ladies have had a very hard time missing daddy :( They have never been this long without either daddy or i, and were not old enough last time daddy left. On Tuesday night, when going to bed, they had a huge sobbing (not a fit) breakdown. They were so upset, and wanted to know when he would be home. So the fix was for mommy to take them to the mall! Worked like a charm

Shopping "Field" Trip

Seems how they had to be homeschooled for preschool... well we don't do things in a normal manner (which is why home schooling parents get all my props) :) So after their speech appts we went to get our hands and toes done, bought magnifine glasses, bought colored flip flops, and rested on the swings in the garden center...I am glad the girls will let me take their pictures doing random things, the boys would never go for it! :)

White Sands....

Before Daddy leaves, we wanted to go to a mini vacation. Due to scheduling and money we had to stay closer to home, and what not, but we had a good family time.
This was our favorite part... the White Sands I love these pictures! :) After debating back and forth I dressed the boys to match the girls! I actually did this for a frame reason :) my mom got me a frame that has 3 spots, and therefore the 3 spots will be filled! yay!

Space Museum....

Then we took them to a little Space Museum! Again, not huge, but they made the best of it! :)

Alamagordo Zoo....

We took them to the Zoo... it was really small, but they seemed to make the best of it. They were so excited they got to wear their normal clothes, rather than their halloween costumes they have to wear to go to our zoo :)

Swing Set

Because we lived in Europe we had no use for a swing set... until now! So Kevin got the girls one with our income tax money. He and Broc worked all weekend to put it together. The issue? there were 2 swings! People say make them share, but it's not that simple, and honestly the rings to hang from were pointless, so this was the easiest way... 3 swings later we are good to go!

Operation Military Kids...

One of the many things we are doing to prepare for daddy leaving are different programs on base. One of those is a program called Operation Military Kids and to be honest long story short, We were the very first family at this base to be a part of this program. I am a strong believer that a deployment is a deployment, all military children should be treated the same regardless of what branch of the service their Dad/Mom serves with. So we were able to bring this program to light here with help from my friend Stacy, Amanda and the 4H! My kids were given Hero packs, Daddy Dolls, and we were given great information. We get to be in the paper, as soon as i get a copy I'll attach it as well!

My Cute Nerd

Heath is so cute.... He is a tough guy who loves to skate board, ride bikes, be outside all the time... But he also has this cute nerdy side. He loves school, everything about it, including being a Conflict Mediator! His goal was to be one this year, he had to do an interview process, we had to fill out paper work, you name he did it to become one. His turn is every Thursday, and he fills in on Tuesday if one is absent. We are so proud of him.....

Field Trip With Dave... To Anne Frank Museum

I haven't been on a Field Trip in along time...at least not with Dave. He is 16, a Sophmore in HS, and therefore too old to have his Mom chaperon.... So when he came home and told me his English/History class was going to the Anne Frank Display, I all but begged him to let me volunteer. :) Not really he told me he knew his teacher would let me go, she knows we have lived in Germany, and visted the Holocaust Muesum in DC. So she was thrilled I would want to go! I have to tell you, I should have paid more attention in school, because it was really cool. At the end there was a holocaust survivor who came and spoke... Very cool experiance, Thanks Dave for letting your mom tag along! :)

By the way.. this is Dave's pasttime... that boy hit on girls all day long~

Shopping Day With Mommy!

On Tuesday, The Ladies and I went shopping at the BX. I have to admit there is a reason we don't go without daddy, because Mommy is a sucker for things such as Umbrellas and Slippers! Daddy is alot better at saying no to these things, which is why he wasn't there!

Meet Sam

Meet Sam, Team Coopers Dog... I am not a huge animal person, and am actually allergic to most of them, but getting him groomed really helped! He smells great, and is not shedding which is what i was going for :) he really is a good dog, and everyone else loves him!
