My poor Broc, his teddy bear hamster Suzy, who even got mentioned in our annual Christmas letter died yesterday. My son is devastated, and so are the girls. Suzy was Broc's "Big" gift for Christmas last year, and needless to say he loves her so.
We buried her with her special blanket (a hand ker chief) that Broc got her. He is so upset.... it is hard as his parent to watch him go through this.

I can only imagine...it's so hard the first time you lose a pet...and have to experience that sort of loss....I'm so sorry for him...
Oh no!! That's awful, Jody!! I'm so sorry to hear that. Poor little guy. So sad.
OH that is so sad!!! maybe he can get a new one soon! poor guy, hope he heals quickly!!

Aww poor Broc. I've been there many times and it always hurts. Those little guys never live long enough! Sorry for his loss :(
Oh that is too sad. All 3 of my kids LOVE their hamsters - I dread when we have to go through that with theirs. Poor Broc - I am sure he is very sad.
I'm so sorry! I've had 2 hamsters and loved them--it was hard when they died:(
